![]() ![]() It can sense the player's heartbeat from a further range than before however, Figure cannot "see" the player anymore after the Hotel+ update. After the player hides or loses Figure, it will start walking around the hallways as the player searches for the 10 fuses on the shelves. When the gate is opened, Figure will bust through a door upstairs before running down the stairs and going after the player, knowing their exact location until the player loses Figure. The player will be able to go faster than Figure for a short time with the use of vitamins. Before collecting 3 books the player will be able to outrun it, but once the third book is collected, Figure will be faster. The Figure's walk speed increases by 0.75x for every book collected in the Library. ![]() This can be fatal, and in multiplayer, some teammates could also be killed. ![]() Do note that if the player hides, it will attract Figure due to the sound it makes. Players are given one warning after missing a beat, but after a second failure Figure will pull them out of the closet and decapitate them, resulting in instant death. Figure may detect a player that is hiding in a closet, making said player play a mini-game, where they must time their heartbeats until Figure leaves. If it hears a noise caused by a player, such as running or walking (it is recommended to stay crouched when in the Library), the player grabbing books, interacting with the padlock, or if the player hides, Figure will run towards the direction of said player/sound. Warnings of it knowing where the player include its footsteps becoming louder and faster and/or the shrieking noises being louder than usual. A moment later, a lamp falls onto the ground and shatters, causing Figure to run towards the broken lamp and investigate (the lamp in question is said to be knocked over by Guiding Light, due to the shining light where Figure runs off to, with the goal of distracting it).įigure is completely blind and will wander around the Library as it feels with its hands. When first encountered, a cutscene will play, in which Figure roars, then starts running at the player from behind a bookshelf, due to the noise made from the door opening. Its body parts were also the same (excluding the head) compared to the Version 2 design. The Figure had the size almost equal to the current design, but the head was a sideways oval with 2 holes as the eyes, and had no mouth. ![]()
